At approximately 3:30 this morning a 25-year-old male was walking across the Halifax Commons in the area of the fountain where he reports he was approached by two males. One of the males punched him in the face and the two proceeded to take from him DJ equipment he was carrying and a sum of cash. The suspects were both described as white, in their twenties, average height and build, wearing dark hoodies with the hoods up. They were last seen running in the direction of the skate park. The victim did not require medical attention. The incident will be investigated by the General Investigative Section.
