HRP Investigate Salt Tractor / Sidewalk Clearing Damage

Halifax Regional Police responded to an incident of property damage that occurred this morning in Dartmouth.

At 2:21 a.m., a Halifax Regional Police patrol officer was approached by a man who had been salting a pathway that connects Albro Lake Road and Farrell Street. He said he noticed two males dressed in black walking on the path towards him. When he was approximately 10-12 feet away, the males huddled together and then started running in the opposite direction towards Farrell Street. The man thought this was odd and lifted the blade of the tractor and noticed what appeared to be damage to the tractor window from a pellet gun. The man was not injured.
