HRP Investigate Stabbing in Dartmouth

 
Investigators in the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are looking for a man in connection with a stabbing that happened in Dartmouth this morning.
 
At approximately 9 a.m., police were called to the 0-100 block of Thistle Street in Dartmouth for a report of a man who had been stabbed following an altercation with a man known to him. Officers attended the scene and located a 26-year-old man suffering from stab wounds. He was transported to hospital for treatment of life threatening injuries. 
 
Investigators do not believe this is a random act as the men are known to each other. Police are actively looking for the suspect, whom they have identified. The investigation into this matter is ongoing.
