HRP Investigates Vehicle / Pedestrian Accident

 
Halifax Regional Police is investigating vehicle/pedestrian collision that occurred Friday afternoon in Bedford.
 
At 3:50 p.m., police responded to a vehicle/pedestrian collision that occurred in the parking lot of Charles P. Allen High School. An 18-year-old male driver was picking up a passenger in front of the school and began to drive away when he struck a woman who was walking to her car in the parking lot. The 34-year-old pedestrian was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries and was later released.
The investigation into this matter is ongoing.
