Halifax Regional Police are investigating a break and enter that occurred in Dartmouth last night.
At approximately 1:30 a.m., police responded to a residence in the 0 to 100 block of Thistle Street for a break and enter in progress. The suspect fled when approached by the homeowners. The suspect fled and was last seen headed in the direction of Mic Mac Mall. There were no reported injuries.
This suspect is described to police as a man with a scruffy beard who is approximately 5’5” to 5’6” tall, who was carrying a light-colored backpack and wearing dark clothing, including, a dark winter jacket and a blue and white toque.
The investigation is ongoing, and investigators are asking anyone with information about the incident or video from the area to call police at 902-490-5020.
