At 2:52 am. on September 1st, 2016 Halifax Regional Police responded to Leaman Dr. Dartmouth in relation to a caller reporting he had been shot. Upon arrival officers located a man behind John Macneil School at the end of Leaman Dr. who had been shot.
Emergency Health Services were immediately called to attend to his injuries, he was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The Forensic Identification Unit and the Homicide Unit of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are in the early stages of the investigation.
