HRP Release Photo of Robbery Suspect – Halifax

Halifax Regional Police is requesting the public’s assistance to identify a man who robbed the Guardian Pharmacy on Coburg Road in Halifax yesterday afternoon.

Just after 4 p.m., a man entered the Guardian Pharmacy at 6199 Coburg Road, went behind the pharmacy counter and produced a knife and demanded cash and drugs before fleeing. The suspect fled on foot on Lemarchant Street with a quantity of cash and drugs. He is described as white man in his 20’s with an olive complexion, gaunt facial features, medium height and build and appears to have a tattoo on the back of his right hand. He was wearing a black and white plaid style jacket, black gloves, pants and toque at the time. None of the staff in the store were injured. The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made at this time.
