[Update] Missing Teen Found – HRP Seek Assistance Locating Missing Teen


[Update]. Police say she has been found and is safe. HRP would like to thank the public for their help.

Halifax Regional Police is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing Dartmouth youth.

On February 20, 17-year-old Shannon Norhaugen was reported missing from her residence in the 100 block of Prince Albert Road. She was last seen on the morning of March 8 in the area of Windmill Road and Albro Lake Road.

Shannon is described as a white female, 5’5”, 127 lbs, with auburn/brown hair and blue eyes. Shannon was last seen wearing a white top, jeans and carrying a purse over one shoulder.

There is no information to suggest that Shannon has met with foul play, however, police are concerned for her well-being. Officers request that Shannon, or anyone with information on her whereabouts calls Halifax Regional Police at 902-490-5020.
