UPDATED: HRPD Looking For Help Locating A Missing 7 Year Old Boy

From Halifax Regional Police Service:

“Halifax Regional Police are requesting the public’s help to locate a missing 7 year old boy. Kenneth Jordan BURNS was last seen leaving his residence on Gaston Road shortly after 4:00 pm today. He was riding a blue BMX style bicycle .

He is described as follows:

White male, 7 years old wearing a green T shirt , jeans and sandals and a blue helmet. He is 4 feet tall, approx 45 pounds and is missing his 4 front teeth. There was a possible sighting of him and another boy riding their bikes up Portland Street , though all attempts locate him have been unsuccessful at this time.

Kenneth has went missing before and was found in the Burnside area. This is not a case of a suspected abduction , but rather a lost child. Halifax Ground Search and Rescue has been called out to assist police in locating the boy.

Anyone with any information should contact Halifax Regional Police at 490-5020.”


UPDATE: Kenneth has been found.  Great news.
