Human Error Behind Latest Mistaken Prisoner Release

get-out-of-jail-729301Hey, everybody makes mistakes.  Although some are more serious than others.  Apparently the recent mistaken prisoner release at the Dartmouth Correctional Facility was because of human error.  CBC.ca writes,

Correctional officials only noticed Upshaw was missing Thursday afternoon when the Kentville Crown called the facility to arrange a sentencing date.

Upshaw, convicted of break and enter, theft and gun-related charges, is back in custody after turning himself in to Halifax Regional Police late Thursday.”
