November 14, 2012, Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) . . . Hwy 102 is closed at Exit 4B due to debris on the highway.
A short time ago, a vehicle traveling outbound hydroplaned and lost control. A tractor trailer hauling lumber was unable to avoid hitting the vehicle. As a result, the transport lost the load it was carrying. Both the inbound and outbound lanes are closed at this time due to debris on the roadway. The cleanup expected to take a couple of hours.  Inbound traffic is being diverted onto Glendale Drive. Outbound Traffic is being rerouted back to Bedford Highway. Motorists are advised to avoid the area. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
