I'm not typically one for spending too much time getting food to look pretty on the plate but earlier this week my kids thought it would be fun to do just that. We were having leftover ribs with rice and they took care of the rest – including the ketchup lipstick!
It doesn't take too much to have a bit of fun plating meals, especially if it helps fussy eaters clean their plate. Dare them to eat a tomato eyeball or tell them not to cut the rice hair…and they'll be giggling their way through cleaning their plate.
