RCMP is on the scene of a plane crash that occurred this morning in Scotch Village.
At 10:19 a.m., the RCMP, EHS and Fire Service agencies from the area responded to a plane crash involving a small single engine plane near the Stanley Airport. The male pilot and lone occupant received apparent non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital via LifeFlight.
The investigation is in the early stages and will be turned over to Transportation and Safety Board with assistance from the RCMP.
