Identity of Man Found in Park Known

From HRPD:
Police have identified a man who was found yesterday afternoon at Sir Sandford Fleming Park. His name is being withheld pending next of kin being notified.

Police were called to the park at 5:55 p.m. after a citizen noticed the body and called police. The body was located in the water and was recovered by Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency Services.

An autopsy was conducted this afternoon, however, it will not be complete until additional test  results are received. There are no apparent signs of foul play, however, the matter is being treated as suspicious until the cause of death is determined.
