At 10:38 pm Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a vehicle driving Northbound on Highway 111 on the wrong side of the road.
The vehicle struck another vehicle just prior to Burnside Drive; both vehicles were damaged but there were no injuries. Police apprehended the vehicle just before the McKay Bridge, and took the driver into custody. A 35 year old male from Dartmouth will be appearing in court at a later date to face charges of impaired driving and leaving the scene of an accident.
