At 12:46 pm several 911 calls were received in regards to an accident on Windmill Road involving up to 8 vehicles with injuries. Halifax Regional Police , EHS and Halifax Regional Fire responded and it was determined there were only three vehicles involved. Two vehicles were extensively damaged, One male was taken to the Cobequid Emergency with minor injuries. The Magazine Hill was shut down for several hours so Officers could complete their investigation.
As a result the driver of one of the vehicles, a 24 year old male from Cole Harbour has been charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs and issued a Summary Offence Ticket for driving left of Centre. He will be attending court at a later date.
