Most of you out there are aware of what an incredibly supportive online community there is in the blogosphere, whether you blog or just enjoy reading them. There comes a time in many of our lives that we know someone who has been affected by cancer. It’s a horrible horrible disease. This is the first time that this has happened directly to a blogger friend. Not that there’s ever an acceptable time to be diagnosed with cancer, but being 25 and doing “everything right” to be fit and healthy just makes it all the more shocking to me. It doesn’t seem that long ago that we had the chance to have lunch and meet while she visited Halifax last summer.
