Indian Brook RCMP respond to armed robbery, Indian Brook, N.S.

Indian Brook RCMP are investigating an armed robbery that occurred earlier today. At approximately 5:45 p.m., a lone female entered the Indian Brook Tobacco Shop on Robinson Road, produced a claw hammer and demanded cash from a staff member.

At approximately 5:45 p.m., a lone female entered the Indian Brook Tobacco Shop on Robinson Road, produced a claw hammer and demanded cash from a staff member.

An undisclosed amount of cash was given to the suspect who then left the premises. It is believed that the suspect fled in a small red car, driven by a second suspect, which traveled East on Robinson Road towards the community of Shubenacadie.

The suspect is described as an Aboriginal female, in her early to mid 20’s and approximately 5’5′. She had shoulder length dark hair and was wearing a black faded hooded sweater and black pants. The suspect carried a large black leather purse. No one was injured during the incident.
