Fans of slacker-film genius Kevin Smith got a chance to see the man himself in the flesh this week as Smith gave a lecture to a packed theatre of fans and film-buffs at Citadel High School Monday night.

The Dalhousie Gazette is reporting that Smith's Q&A ran the gamut of topics from his preferred strain of marijuana, a dissection of his films and the curveballs of directing, to his sometimes troubled friendship with long-time collaborator Jason Mewes. Smith has been working the lecture and podcast circuit more frequently and this was his first visit to the Maritimes.
