At about 2:09 pm Halifax Regional Police responded to an industrial accident at a construction site located on Garland Avenue in the Burnside Industrial Park . Three males were on top of a column working the new cement. The column collapsed one of the males fell several feet to the ground. The other two males did not fall to the ground. The injured male was transported to the QE2 Health Science Centre with Serious but non life threatening injuries. The scene was turned over to the Department of Labour who are continuing the investigation.
