At approximately 4:17 pm this afternoon, members of the Halifax Regional Police responded to the report of an industrial accident at a business located at in the 500 block of Portland Street in Dartmouth.
A sheet of metal fell over landing on a 19 year old man who is an employee at the business.
The man was transported to the hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The Department of Labour was contacted and will be investigating the accident.
