A group of Bedford residents and business people are working to create a Business Improvement District BID) in Bedford.

Watch for a registered mail ballot in March and return it in prepaid envelope.

The mission of the Bedford Business Improvement District is to work on behalf of all businesses within District 21, Bedford, to raise the quality of experience for investors, businesses, residents and visitors.

Their vision:

-Clean, safe and welcoming spaces to work, shop, live and play.
-Prosperous business districts with unique retail, services and hospitality.
-Appealing environment to people of all ages, backgrounds and interests.
-Pedestrian spaces that invite walking.
-Roadways that promote cycling.
-Cultural richness with eco balance.

The Bedford and Area Business Improvement Association will be holding an information meetings for Commercial Property Owners.

The meeting will take place in the Community Room in the Atlantic Superstore, 6150 Bedford Highway (2nd level) on Tuesday, February 23, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
