Ingonish Beach RCMP charge one man for trafficking, Bay St. Lawrence, N.S.

Ingonish Beach RCMP conducted a check point which resulted in marijuana being seized from a vehicle.

Yesterday at approximately 9 p.m., RCMP conducted a check point in the Bay St.

Lawrence area. As a result of this checkpoint, RCMP located marijuana inside a vehicle and arrested a 21-year-old man from Dingwall without incident.

The man is facing a charge under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act for Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking. He has been released from police custody and will be appearing in Ingonish Provincial Court on July 17th , 2014. The investigation is continuing.
