Ingonish Beach RCMP conduct search on Bay St. Lawrence Road home.

On Thursday September 4th, Ingonish Beach RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence on Bay St. Lawrence Road in Northern Cape Breton.

A search of the home resulted in the RCMP seizing ammunition for multiple firearms, meat and body parts of wild game, stolen property and prescription pills.

The 45-year-old male, who was arrested without incident, is facing charges of Breaching a Probation Order, Possession of Stolen Property, Unauthorized Possession of Ammunition and Unlawfully Possessing Animal Parts of the Deer Family, a Wild Life Act offence. The man was released from police custody and will be appearing in Ingonish Provincial Court on a later date. The investigation is continuing.
