Ingonish RCMP are investigating a motor vehicle incident that occurred on the Bay St Lawrence wharf yesterday.
Shortly after 4:30 p.m., Ingonish RCMP members responded to a call about a vehicle that was forced over the end of the wharf in Bay St-Lawrence by a pick-up truck.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a car with two male occupants in it was pushed into the water by the driver of a pick-up truck. The two occupants of the car were able to swim to shore although they received minor injuries. Police believe this was not a random act.
