As this year also marks the International Year for People of African Decent, the annual gospel concert will be held at the Black Cultural Centre located in Dartmouth on Saturday, March 19th at 7:00 p.m. A church service will take place at The East Preston United Baptist Church on Upper Partridge River Rd. on Sunday, March 20th at 10:00 a.m. Previously, events have been held in Hammond Plains, New Glasgow, and Cherry Brook.
Employees of the Nova Scotia RCMP will be in attendance at each event, and will be forming a choir to perform a selection for the church service on Sunday morning. Both events are open to the public and everyone is welcome to attend.
