Intoxicated, hungry and tired leads to arrest

A 20-year-old man is facing several charges after Halifax District RCMP arrested an uninvited man at a home in Timberlea.

Just prior to 3 a.m. this morning, a home owner woke up to find an intoxicated man sleeping on their sofa. It appears the man entered through an unlocked door, made a snack and decided to take a nap on the sofa in the living room.

As a result, the 20-year-old man from Beaverbank, is facing charges for Being Unlawfully in a Dwelling-House, Illegal Possession, and three counts of Breach of Probation. He will appear in Halifax Provincial Court on August 1, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. to answer these charges.
