Intoxicated in public results in multiple charges – Lower Sackville

Halifax District RCMP responded to multiple 911 calls of an intoxicated man banging, kicking and urinating on apartment doors at an apartment complex in Lower Sackville last evening.

Shortly after 8 p.m., RCMP arrived to locate a 24-year-old man from Dartmouth causing a disturbance in the hallway of the apartment building. When officers approached the man, he became aggressive towards the officers.

As a result of his actions, the man is facing multiple charges including Mischief, Resisting Arrest, Assault on Peace Officer and Being Intoxicated in a Public Place.

The man was held in custody and will appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court later today.
