The Nova Scotia Securities Commission is alerting investors that both Strategic Global Investments, and Norwick and Crowley are not registered to sell securities in Nova Scotia.
Both companies, and their representatives, have solicited at least one Nova Scotia resident by telephone to invest in gold options.
The commission urges Nova Scotians to exercise extreme caution when dealing with firms that are not registered in Nova Scotia. To see if a company or person is registered, you can check the Canadian Securities Administrators’ National Registration Search page www.securities-administrators.ca/nrs/nrsearch.aspx?id=850, or contact the commission toll free at 1-855-421-2499 or 902-424-7768 in HRM.
The Nova Scotia Securities Commission is the provincial government agency responsible for regulating the investment industry in the province.
