As I was going through this week’s iPhone pictures I realized that most of them gave a “Mama’s eye view” of sending Cameron to daycare for the first time.
The photos tell the tale of the sleepless nights and early mornings by capturing my increased intake of caffeine.
They tell of the things I did to keep positive and occupied while my baby was away from me. (Oh yeah, and more caffeine).
The photos tell the story of me waiting. Waiting to pick him up from daycare. Waiting to wrap my arms around him. Waiting to put my foot on the gas and get to him. Waiting to get out of the driver’s seat. Waiting to be where my baby was.
These pictures tell a story. They narrate a week. But they don’t tell you who I am. They don’t introduce you to ME, Laura, Mom to Camera, Lover of MamaLife.
No, that photo would be this one. This picture that is perfect and blurry all at the same time. This photo which sings the conclusion to the story told above. This photo, happiness. Fun. Mommy and son. Dancing.
