On Wednesday Jan 6, RCMP alerted the public about a dangerous offender that was on the run after a shooting in New Brunswick.

On Thursday, RCMP released a statement to the media after it became clear that many were unhappy with the speed of the EMO alert sent to mobile phones and other mediums.
