The cable layer Isaac Newton has spent the winter in Halifax. She arrived in the fall after working on laying new power transmission cables to PEI. the Ice came before the work was complete and she sailed for Halifax, and spent the winter at Pier 9. Last week she sailed to Mahone Bay for trials, and spent some time in the basin doing ROV workups, before returning to pier 9.

She applied for a Casting trade license for the time period between March 15 to June 15, so she is likely waiting for the ice to clear.
