January attack on J.L. Ilsley student hurting students’ job chances?

The Chebucto News is reporting that on Jan. 20 a group of J.L. Ilsley students attacked another student on school property. The victim was stabbed in the arm and beaten. The student-written article describes the school of 800 students as "devastated" by the attack, and worries about its effect on their school's reputation.Further in the article, an unnamed student is quoted saying, "Students at J.L. Ilsley are very charitable, but I will be applying for jobs and people will judge me and probably won't hire me because they'll think that I'll rob them." So, do you think this is true?
