This recall involves ibiZ portable USB wall chargers, sold in bulk. The cube-shaped USB chargers were available in blue, purple, white, and black with “ibiZ” printed on the top. The model number CB013 is marked on one of the sides of the chargers. The UCP number is 884118269432.
Hazard identified: The chargers can overheat and melt, posing a fire and burn hazard. As of August 22nd, 2018, the company has received 3 reports of chargers overheating and melting in Canada, and no reports of injuries.
