JL Ilsley students to cook gourmet meal for Chebucto Family Centre

JL Ilsley grade 10 students are going to be cooking a 3-course meal in support of the Chebucto Family Centre (which used to be called the Single Parent Centre). The class teacher told me they are aiming to serve 150 people tomorrow night. They haven't yet sold all their tickets. He called it the best meal for $10 you could get, and it's for a good cause. More info below:-----The JL Ilsley High School Community Based Learning 10 class are holding a fundraiser dinner Tuesday April 3 with all proceeds benefitting the Chebucto Family Centre in Spryfield. This 3 course dinner will be prepared by these Options and Opportunities Program students under the guidance of Chef Dave Woodley and staff members from the Prince George Hotel in Halifax. The dinner will be held April 3rd at the J.L Ilsley High School cafeteria. The cost is 10$ in advance or at the door. Seating is limited.  All money raised will be going to the Chebucto Family Centre in Spryfield. The doors open at 5:45 and dinner will be served at 6:00.
