The Department of Environment is postponing a community update meeting on hydraulic fracturing wastewater tonight, Jan. 29, in Noel because of weather conditions.People are welcome to attend the update in Truro on Thursday, at 7 p.m.

The Department of Environment is postponing a community update meeting on hydraulic fracturing wastewater tonight, Jan. 29, in Noel because of weather conditions.

People are welcome to attend the update in Truro on Thursday, at 7 p.m.

, at the Best Western Glengarry. The Kennetcook meeting will be rescheduled.

“I know residents in Kennetcook are anxious to get an update, ask questions and voice their concerns,” said Environment Minister Randy Delorey. “We will reschedule the meeting and I look forward to visiting the community in the near future.”

The test results from Atlantic Industrial Services on treated hydraulic fracturing wastewater in Debert will be released Thursday at the meeting and then posted at www.novascotia.ca/nse/pollutionprevention/pubs.asp.
