Kings County man surrenders to the RCMP, Windemere, N.S.

The RCMP arrested a man after reports of shots fired in Kings County. Last evening at approximately 7:00 p.m., Kings District RCMP received a report of shots fired outside a residence on Cleveland Road in Windemere, Kings County.

Last evening at approximately 7:00 p.m., Kings District RCMP received a report of shots fired outside a residence on Cleveland Road in Windemere, Kings County.

RCMP officers attended the scene and contained the area around the residence for a short period of time. A 41-year-old man surrendered without incident and was taken into custody. RCMP seized multiple firearms from the residence.

The man was transported to the Valley Regional Hospital for assessment. Charges are pending from the incident.
