Kings District RCMP investigate structure fire, Greenwood, N.S.

Kings District RCMP are investigating a fire that occurred early this morning on Lazy Lane in Greenwood. This morning at approximately 5:20 a.m., the Kingston fire department and Kings District RCMP responded to a structure fire.

This morning at approximately 5:20 a.m., the Kingston fire department and Kings District RCMP responded to a structure fire.

An unoccupied house has been extensively damaged. No one was hurt in the blaze.

The investigation is ongoing.

RCMP are asking anyone with information on this fire to contact Kings District RCMP (902) 765-3317, local police or Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or by a Secure Web Tips at www.crimesstoppers.ns.ca. Calls to Crime Stoppers are not taped or traced and if police make an arrest and lay charges based on a tip, callers qualify for a cash award.
