Kings District RCMP is investigating a motor vehicle incident that resulted in serious injuries on Wednesday evening.
Shortly after 6:30 p.m. Wednesday evening, Kings District RCMP responded to a serious injury in the parking lot of the Canadian Tire store in Greenwood.
A preliminary investigation has revealed that a 16-year-old male was riding on the hood of a slow-moving vehicle, which was being driven by a 16-year-old female, when he slipped off and hit his head on the pavement.
The 16-year-old male was transported to hospital. The investigation is continuing.
