Kings District RCMP is investigating a fatal two-vehicle collision

At approximately 8 a.m. this morning, Kings District RCMP responded to a two-vehicle collision that occurred on Hwy. 101.​ A car travelling west bound, lost control and collided with an ambulance which was travelling east bound.​

The driver of the car, a 51-year-old man, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver and passenger of the ambulance were taken to hospital via EHS for minor injuries.

Kentville and surrounding Fire Departments also responded. An RCMP Collision Analysis attended the scene and Hwy. 101 was closed but has since been re-opened. The investigation is ongoing.
