Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that work will begin on Friday, Oct. 30 to extend the natural gas main on Lady Hammond Road between Commission and Mackintosh streets.
No work will take place between the morning and afternoon rush hours (7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
). Stop-and-go traffic can be expected while work is underway. The pipe installation is expected to take approximately one week, with restoration to follow.
Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.
Heritage Gas and the municipality apologize in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause.
