Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that Lakecrest Drive and Walker Street in Dartmouth will be closed to vehicle traffic for two days next week while crews connect water pipes in the area.
Starting at 7 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 12, Lakecrest will close between Major Street and Raymond Street, and Walker will shut down between First Street and Lakecrest. The streets will remain closed overnight and reopen to traffic at about 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 13.
Crews will accommodate access for local traffic only and pedestrians will continue to have access during the closure. Motorists are advised to find alternative routes. The municipality regrets any inconvenience this work may cause.
