A search warrant was executed on a large outdoor marijuana grow-op in Piedmont yesterday.

Yesterday at approximately 9 a.m., the Pictou County Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit (PCISCEU) executed a search warrant at a property on Piedmont Valley Road.

As a result, Police seized approximately 200 large marijuana plants growing on the property in various locations. Some of the plants were over 10 feet tall. This is the largest outdoor marijuana grow-op ever seized by PCISCEU. Police are waiting to speak with the property owner, no arrests have been made.

The investigation is continuing.
