Larger numbers of vehicles in downtown Halifax Wednesday morning due to event

Monday, November 25, 2013 – HRM is notifying residents that larger volumes of traffic are expected in the downtown Halifax area on Wednesday, November 27, as participants arrive for the event “We Day Atlantic Canada.

The event will take place at the Halifax Metro Centre, with thousands of students attending. Attendees are expected to arrive early in the morning, around 8 a.m. with many traveling by school bus. Buses will be dropping off students on the streets surrounding the Halifax Metro Centre.

Motorists should expect delays.
