At approximately 11:05 pm last night, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of an attempted robbery at the Metro Pizza located on Lady Hammond Rd in Halifax. The male suspect entered the store carrying a firearm but, fled the store empty-handed. The suspect is described as approximately 5’5 to 5’8, medium build, wearing gray jogging pants and, a black hoodie with a silver logo. He wore a mask covering his face at the time of the robbery. The employees were not injured during the incident. Members of the Integrated General Investigative Section are continuing the investigation.
