lavish lime: smart stylish products for back to school giveaway for a packit freezable lunch box!

My family is constantly on the go so I’ve learned to arm myself with an arsenal of snacks and drinks for everyone including my husband and I…which means we need a lot of space for reusable containers.  When it comes to waste-free lunches, Lavish & Lime has you covered with hundreds of eco-friendly and smartly designed products. And by far one of the most brilliant products they’ve added to their store? The Packit.

This super stylish line of lunch boxes/ lunch coolers are complete with internal gel packs that are totally freezable and stay cold for up to 10 hours! To test it out we brought it with us to the outdoor on a scorching +33 degrees day packed to the brim with almost all foods that had to be kept cold to enjoy on a hot day: carrots, dip, blueberries, juice boxes, sandwiches….a TON of stuff. All of which was in a reusable container and fit nicely in the Packit. Since the kids were in and out of the lunch box all day, it was rarely kept closed and turns out that’s not entirely necessary to keep the gel packs frozen. We were there for a few hours and by the time we ran errands and make it back home, the Packit was still cold 7 hours later. When you get home, just simply empty the contents and throw the whole thing back in the freezer for next time.

Due to the internal gel packs, this lunch box is a bit larger and heavier than the norm. The size works great for adults and children and the designs are mostly gender neutral and super modern. They’re made of non-PVC polyester and a chlorine-free PEVA liner, are PVC and lead-free tested, and are also free of BPA and phthalates.

The Packit along with a Swell bottle (seriously, this water bottle is ridiculous and keeps icecubes frozen for 2 days on the counter with the cap off – no lie.) and a couple of Sporks and you’re good to go for a Saturday of bike riding and playing at the park.

For the new school year, I’ve also been on the lookout for velcro wallets for my boys (they wanted superheros, I wanted them to not be made of PVC and chemicals) and I was having no luck! I came across the new Keep Leaf reusable velcro food pouches and knew they’d be perfect for two little boys with lots of coins and knickknacks to tote around with them.

They keep money, army guys and grasshoppers nicely contained thanks to the velcro strip, but it’s easy enough for tiny hands to pull apart. My boys love the camo army print and I’m happy they have a cool little “wallet”. It’ll be perfect for Aidan to keep all his little treasures in like the stickers he’ll be earning at kindergarten and Sunday school.
