Our colleagues at the Toronto Public Library System have recently faced some serious threats to their funding.
One result of the ensuing public outcry was the creation of a neat contest, a contest which asked people to answer the basic question of “Why My Libraries Matter to Me?”.
I really enjoyed reading the essays and watching the videos submitted by TPL patrons.
