Product description: This recall involves lithium ion batteries used in two Torqeedo Travel and Ultralight outboard engines used to power recreational or sports boats. The affected engines can be identified by the following model names, model numbers and battery serial number range:

Hazard identified: The lithium ion batteries used in the affected outboard engines may not be water tight, posing a fire hazard when being submerged in water.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled lithium ion batteries and register their Torqeedo battery by visiting the website in English or in French to initiate the process for a repair or replacement of the battery.
