Liverpool man facing drug trafficking charges, Liverpool, N.S.

Queens District RCMP, with assistance from South Shore Criminal Intelligence Service Nova Scotia (CISNS), executed a search warrant on Gorham St., Liverpool under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

Queens District RCMP, with assistance from South Shore Criminal Intelligence Service Nova Scotia (CISNS), executed a search warrant on Gorham St., Liverpool under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

As a result, a 37-year-old male and 35-year-female, both from Liverpool, were arrested

Throughout the search, a significant quantity of prescription medication including percocet , dilaudid and valium was seized, along with marijuana, more than $5,000 and drug paraphernalia.

The male is being held in custody pending a court appearance in Bridgewater today. He is facing five counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance.
 

The female was released without charge.
