Loaded firearm found in vehicle during a traffic stop in Dartmouth, pair arrested

At approximately 7:50 pm Halifax Police arrested a 34 year old man and a 27 year old female during a traffic stop in the 0-100 block of Lahey Road in Dartmouth.

The man was wanted on an outstanding Canada wide warrant.

A search of the vehicle turned up a loaded firearm.

The man and woman are facing numerous weapons related charges and are being held in custody. Both will be making a court appearance at Dartmouth Provincial Court on Monday.
